U15 Kings Information: Welcome to Turn and Burn's newest LACROSSE EXPERIENCE! The Future Kings Youth Travel Team will be developmental lacrosse team with a more intense coaching and practice focus. The Kings will practice multiple times a week, even in the off-season. (Obviously, players who are involved in other sports or activities are just asked to make one practice a week.) Players will be coached by former collegiate players and coaches and included in Turn and Burn's off-season leagues and clinics for an un-matched lacrosse experience in the Carolinas! Turn and Burn's U15 Carolina Kings Travel Team will be comprised of elite elementary school players from Mecklenburg County, Union County and surrounding areas in North and South Carolina. This team is for players who excelled and enjoyed playing competitive lacrosse in the Spring and want to continue to play in the Summer, Fall, and Winter. Our goal is to help develop and expose younger players, so that by the time they reach High School they will have a better understanding of the game, helping their program. The Kings will play in competitive tournaments along the Eastern coast during summer and fall seasons. Age Requirements: (as indicated by US Lacrosse) Youth players will be age 14 years old or younger on the August 31st preceding the event. All of the below tournaments we will be attending during the 2011 summer season will be full-field 10 v 10 game format. All standard rules will apply as far as penalties and infractions. Each tournament will have variations on running quarters or halves. Each tournament we enter guarantees 3 games, as well as the opportunity to play for the Championship. The tournament dates and locations are listed below, more specific game information will be available closer to the tournament. Practices: We will start Monday May 21st. All practices will be on Monday and Wednesday's from 4pm - 6pm at Mara on the Lower Field. Team Costs: ***TOURNAMENT FEES WILL NOT BE INCLUDED in team costs.*** Required Summer Package: $975 The required package includes; experienced coaching from former and current NCAA players and coaches, field expenses for practices (May - July), team uniforms (game jersey and shorts), team pack (hat, socks, shooting shirt, sweatshirt) and a practice reversible and shorts. Full Summer Package: $1200 Full package costs will include; experienced coaching from former and current NCAA players and coaches, field expenses for practices (May - July), team helmet, team gloves, team uniforms (game jersey and shorts), team pack (hat, socks, shooting shirt, sweatshirt, bag) and a practice reversible and shorts.
